Not a huge significant update here, but some stuff.
1. House is awesome. Still doing the interior painting, but we are taking our time to make sure it's done right.
2. Still finishing up the cleaning of the apartment and getting the stragglers of items out of there. Should be mostly done this weekend.
3. All four kitties love the new house. Not one has felt weird or wanted to go back to the apartment.
Also, I know a bulk of my friends list here loves Chrono Trigger, so you'll definitely appreciate this

I recieved on of those AOL disks in the mail the other day, but it wasn't a normal AOL disk. Oh no, it was one covered in pictures of a happy elder couple, a young family, some kids running around, and one common thing. All were of the African American persuasion, and at the top of the package was "Black Voices: Finally YOUR voice can be heard" or something along those lines. Now I don't know where AOL gets their demographic info from, and although I do have a nice tan, I don't think Korean and White = Black. I find the whole thing funny, and I'll snap a shot of this ridiculous package when I get a chance. After getting it all I have in my head is that scene from Rush Hour, with Jackie talking to the bartender.

As for the folks that did that name thing on my last entry, I will get to y'all don't worry. Still recovering from Sakura Con and Pocky overload. I also have a b1tch1n* cool 1/100 scale Gundam Red Frame Astray to put together. I mean, how can you go wrong with a giant robot that has a KATANA for a weapon? It exudes cool on levels wholly unknown to me before. Plus I think 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime will be able to hold it as well.
However, to my fellow comic geekers, a question. I was hitting up the video rental/bookstore here on the base, and noticed Elektra was available on DVD. Now, did that flick ever actually make the theaters? I have no recollection of ads running for it or seeing it on theater marquees. Was it short run or did poor Jennifer Garner hit the straight to dvd bin?

 1. Stylish, but slightly frumpy, polo shirt. Occasionally a button up shirt, but NEVER long sleeved. Snagging cat 5 cable plug clips often results in breakage, and they are magnetically drawn to the wrist of a long sleeve shirt. Also a pain in the ass to put a static wrist strap on underneath
 2. Cellphone and keys to various locked server rooms adorns hip area. Also, black jeans to circumvent the dress code.
 3. ULTIMATE FASHION FAUX PAS ATTACK! Black Sandals and WHITE SOCKS. Of course, all the enlightened folks know this is hot stuff right here. |
